FAQ
What kind of events do we cater?
We entertain and create bespoke events solely focused on the overall guest experience. We ensure the details and expectations are exceeded at every opportunity of a guest interaction.
How do you bill for events? Is it a per person cost?
We bill a contract/ consulting fee for Ross’s services, from concept to execution of the event. Labour for all personnel are at a prescribed rate based on the type of function you are requesting. Everything else is billed at cost; all food and beverage, materials/ goods and rentals.
Do you have minimum spends for events?
We do, but we look at every event request with a bit of a different lens as each request is completely unique. We suggest that you reach our here to get in touch! We are always searching for the next great event!
Do you only consult for restaurants?
We look at every opportunity that presents itself for foodservice establishments looking to take the leap and drive better results and deliver on a better product and sustainable financial growth metrics. Cafés, full service restaurants, QSR's, catering companies, food product development for food manufacturing all come under the consultation umbrella. The area of focus really revolves around functional assets within the Six Sigma framework and continuous improvement. Whether it's recipe and menu development, a menu rewrite, menu engineering or even building out your entire food plan from concept to doors open, we have you covered.
What are your consultation fees?
Not one project is not like any other. We always meet with our clients, sometimes several times to hone in on what their expectations and own metrics are. Fees are based on how in-depth the project, it's duration, and location can all play parts in the breakdown of costs for any project request. The one item we aim for, is that the client can correlate relevant and foreseeable ROI on every dollar spent for any project. If we can't show that, then it's likely not a project we'd consider.
What kind of food tours do you organize, and typically how many people can travel with you for these tours?
Currently we focus our tours in Italy and France. Ross is a well seasoned traveler in both countries and has relevant contacts to put these tours together to please the most discerning traveler! We generally don't do these tours for more than 12-16 people. We keep the groups smaller as it allows for more elevated experiences in lodging, transportation and for our culinary experiences and adventures.
What do the tours cost and how many days are you away?
No tour is identical in pricing. We put together exceptional packages for guests who prefer the finer offerings in these types of experiential tours. We offer business class flights where available, first class villa type lodging, unique bespoke tours, curated culinary and dining experiences and we always plan some free time for our guests as well. Not every minute has to be planned to enjoy a vacation away. A day of exploring on your own, a day by the pool with a book or a great podcast is as good away as it is at home without many of life's interruptions. Prices for these types of tours can range between $22,000 and $25,000/ person for 10-12 day excursions. Planning for these events takes an exorbitant amount of time, so we usually announce these events at least 12-18 months in advance. Keep an eye out for exploratory information sessions if your are wanting to experience travel like this with you and a group of friends, colleagues or even incentive travel. Please get in touch HERE!
